Previous Craft Fairs and Markets

Here are some photographs of some of the craft fairs and markets where I have been selling my wares over the last few years.

When I first started my business I was introduced by a kind friend to the Easter Fair at the Oval in Brinkworth (country South Australia). The day was busy, hot and tiring as I took the whole of my tray stock, which filled the car, and it was a two hour drive from home!

Before and during Covid restrictions, there was a lovely annual craft fair at Kilburn Community Centre arranged by the local council and I was lucky enough to secure a stall there for a few years.

I was mainly selling my trays at this time, though this photo shows a few Christmas items I had started adding to the range.

Magill Rotarians run a very busy and popular market on the second Sunday of every month from 9am until 2pm and I try to be there whenever possible.

The location is ideal and the Repair Cafe is also usually in attendance. There is a good mix of craft and food stalls

In early December 2023 Goolwa RSL held their first Craft Market, which was a raging success, making welcome money for the RSL funds and giving local artisans an opportunity to show off their goods.

There was a wonderful variety of stalls, including hand made biscuits and fudge, wreaths modern and traditional, home made crafts and of course the mandatory sausage sizzle!

The weather was perfect and a happy and busy day was had by all.

It is hoped that this will become an annual feature of the Goolwa RSL calendar.

There has been a busy and popular market held at the One Tree Hill Town Hall for many years. It is held on the first Saturday of every month from 8am to 12.30pm.

Recently I have been lucky enough to secure a stall and I have to say that the location and atmosphere of this market is delightful and very friendly.
