Pretty Personal Items

Most of these pretty items were made from fairly small scraps of fabric or yarn and other items like  bottle caps that would normally get thrown out in the trash rather than recycled. I make the paper beads used in some of the bracelets from scraps of wrapping paper or card left over from other projects.

These quirky key chains/bag tags are made from yarn scraps and snippets of reclaimed ribbons, plus donated carabiner clips.

These brooches/key fobs/bag tags are made from  crocheted  yarn scraps and very small fabric scraps and bits of broken jewellery.

These delightful hair slides are made from small fabric scraps, snippets of reclaimed ribbons, pieces of old card and bottle caps.  they have small hair combs attached to enable you to fix in even the finest of hair.

These tiny hat brooches are made from crocheted yarn scraps or household string. they have a pin sewed on to the rear to secure them to your clothing.

These hairbands are made from snakes of scrap fabric filled with scrap yarn and plaited into pretty designs.

These bracelets are made from beads I make from wrapping paper scraps and donated cord and jewellery findings. They are coated with resin to give the surface shine and durability.

Fun and inexpensive, this was a great way to use fabric scraps, bits of broken jewellery and ends of old ribbon.
